We all want to be right, but no one stops to think if their idea of right is right. Wanting to be right involves fixating on the end, and falls under the trap that Alexander referred to as ‘End-Gaining.’ Rather than focusing on achieving an end, we should be focused on the ‘means-whereby’ of getting there – focusing on the HOW instead of the WHAT. Have you ever found yourself end-gaining, and how did you employ means-whereby to get yourself out of it?

    Being present.

I found that when I was working a goal with only that in mind I did not reflect on any of the steps that got me to the goal and I did not appreciate the achieved goal- instead I was onto the “next” thing and the “next” thing after that

Mindfulness gives you the space to be “right & wrong”.
