    Alexander maintains that the difficulty in making change comes in part from the fact that we calibrate our sense of right and wrong based on our habitual use. Anything other than our usual habit will feel ‘wrong’ to us, since we are not used to it. To make change, we have to accept that our sensory appreciation is unreliable and become more aware objectively of what we are doing with ourselves. What are some examples of times your own senses were proven unreliable?

    It is inherent on how the mind works- it overlays experiences from the past or habits to “inform” us if it is wrong.

    Relax and give space to the feeling- observe with out judgement.
